Camila Cabello opens up about COMPETING with Fifth Harmony

Over one year ago Camila left the pop group Fifth Harmony and since then has released her self title album and only twenty six days in is number 1 on the billboards. In an interview the singer said,

“ I became super-curious about songwriting and it was around the time- I think it was the second year that I was with the group- that I wanted to start songwriting for other people”

She then went on to talk about if it wasn't for The X Factor and her time in Fifth Harmony then she wouldn't be were she was today. “It shaped me entirely. Would not be the person that I am right now; I would not have been ready for this. I feel like being part of a group teaches you so many things about yourself, ironically."

However Camila then went on to say,

"it also brings out this healthy competition, you know what I mean? You never want to be the one that sucks”

Camila didn't develop on her point of "healthy competition" however it's obvious that Camila wants to be achieving more than Fifth Harmony and due to her recent release of her album it's clear that she's done just that.
